Wedding Favours are believed to have started in Italy where they area also known as Bombonier. It is traditional to give a small gift or favour to each guest. These favours are normally presented in an ornate favour box or favour tulle rounds. Inside each wedding favours are traditionally 5 sweets, ususally sugared almonds. Each sugared almond represents something diferent , health, wealth, happiness, fertility and long life. Sugared Almonds and all of our confectionery is supplied in sealed boxes with a "best before date". Sugared almonds come in large range of colours including Gold Almonds and Silver Almonds. Sugared Dragees are like sugared almonds except with a chocolate centre.
