Today diferent types of confetti are used at diferent parts of the wedding ceremony and wedding breakfast or reception.
At the service it is traditional in some cultures for brides to have roses petals scattered at their feet on the way down the aisle. This today is frowned upon by most churchs who quite rightly do not want to clear up the confetti afterwards.
After the wedding ceremony we recommend either a natural rose petal confetti or biodegradable paper confetti MW1806 or B1455. The new real flower petal confetti is made from Delphinium Petals which come in a range of colours or can be mixed.
Most churches do ask that confetti is not thrown in the church grounds. Check with your vicar beforehand.
At the reception confetti is mainly used to decorate table tops. Either use a preserved petal confetti or freeze dried petal confetti
