Paper/Parchment Roses

Craft flowers are generally used to add a decorative touch to any arrangement or project. Paper flowers in particular can be very realistic and can be used to create lifelike arrangements with fresh colours and none of the mess or wilting.

You can find paper flowers used in many ways, from favours and craft projects, to hair decoration and corsages. They are available in many styles and flower types to suit any theme.

The rose design is usually the most popular for wedding designs but even then there are variations to explore. Paper parchment roses are very lifelike and are ideal for corsages or more bold hair decorations as they are larger than many of the other options with heads sized at around 50mm and wire stems measuring 100mm.

If you are looking for something with a little more depth and colour, the petite roses (B1547) have that more ‘arty’ look to them with their two toned flowers and leaves. They come on 80-90mm stems with leaves at 25mm and heads around 15mm.

If the more traditional theme is required, we have two wild rose designs. Both are the same size at around 100mm tall with flowers coming in at 20mm. The first (B1496) has petals of a more ‘frilly’ look to them whereas the wild rose(B1600) had fewer petals but has the yellow centre and leaves on each stem.

There are the more standard rose designs with the small open rose(B1495) and the mini open roses(B1586) which are both available in a wide selection of colours. Both come on stems 90mm in length, it is just the flower sizes that vary with the small open rose measuring 15mm whereas the mini open rose is just 10mm.

There is also a rosebud design, and once again we have these in two sizes. The larger one is called mini rosebuds (B1358) and had stems of 100mm with a bud size of 10mmwide by 15mm long. The smallest buds are tiny paper rose buds (B1699) and they are around70mm tall with very small buds at 4mm wide and 8mm long. Both these flowers are very elegant but the tiny ones are exceptionally neat and would be great for particularly small or detailed designs.

Paper flowers can also be found in the form of carnations (B1470) and even daisies (B1471). These are ideal if you fancy moving away from the usual rose design and would be ideal for pretty favour boxes or crafty projects like card making.

The type and texture of paper used varies slightly from each flower design and each helps to create a different effect from modern and crisp to pretty and frilly flowers.
