Oeke-tex standard for Ribbon
All of our double edged satin ribbon meets Oak-Tex Standard 100. This is particularly important if you are a manufacturer or using the ribbon in clothing.
Oeke-tex standard 100 is a series of tests which creates a quality standard for textiles and ribbons ensuring that the product at each stage of its manufacturer is free from any harmful substances.
Test are carried out by one of the 17 independent test institutes which form the International Oeko-Tex Association. This certificate is particularly important if the ribbon is being used in children clothing which may be in contact with skin.
