Hi

I am looking to purchase some sage green ribbon. I need some to tie 70 order of services (to secure the insert in place to the cover) and also I need a large ribbon to go across an A2 card for my table plan. I wondered what type of ribbon you would suggest to do this and how much I should order.

Thanks in advance
Lindsay

Dear Lindsay,

Satin is the most popular choice, although alot of people go for chiffon as well.

The amount really depends on all the measurements, but a good way to work it out is to use some string to tie them as you would with the ribbon, then carefully undo the string and measure it.  You will need to add on about 10cm to each measurement to ensure you have taken into account the offcuts etc.

Once you know what you will need per card, you can just times that by the number of cards and you will have the total amount.

Regards

Kirsty
