Wrsitlet

Sherry Clark wrote in to say:Could somebody please explain to me how to use a "wristlet". This of course is the item you need to make a corsage into a flower arrangement into an item to be worn around the wrist of the person, and not pinned on the dress. Maybe I'm a little slow or just not mechanically inclined, but I can't figure out the best way to insert the stem of the corsage and if I'm supposed to bend the hooks that stick out from the sides around the stem or what exactly is the best way to accomplish this successfully. My wristlets are made of satin. Any help that you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

Dear Sherry,
You would usually use the hooks, adn also tape or wire to secure them further.
Often people choose to use a ribbon to tie aroung the wristlet and flower with a bow to help secure them and also cover any tape used.
