Chiffon can be divided into two main catgories . Wired Chiffon Ribbon and Unwired Chiffon Ribbon
Unwired chiffon ribbon is our largest and fastest selling range of ribbon. As it is so popular we keep very high stocks in a broad range of colours and widths. For urgent ribbon orders we can usually respond to most customer requirements with a next day delivery option.
We stock several well known high quality chiffon ribbon ranges. All have woven edges to prevent fraying and come in a popular wide range of colours
It is the ideal ribbon for wedding work and general use. Because we carry every colour in all the widths it is possible to co-ordinate all of your wedding stationery - invitations, order or service , place setting , serviette ties.

To see the true colour of chiffon you need to unroll it a little and let the light shine through. If you wish to mix types of ribbon, for instance chiffon and satin, be aware that due to the different 
fabrics used there will nearly always be a diference in colours. Get samples to make sure they match.
We carry serveral ranges of chiffon ribbon. Each manufacturer has a slightly diferent "sheen" or "sparkle" and range of colours.
Wired Chiffon Ribbon (Organza Ribbon)
This varies from ordinary chiffon ribbon in that it has a fine filament wire running along each side of it's length. This will enable the ribbon to be shaped and formed and can be useful if you want to create twists or large ribbon bows. Wired Chiffon is usually more expensive. It will also come in a more resticted range of colours and widths.
Wired chiffon is often chosen where there is no need. For normal bows, for say serviettes, unwired chiffon is perfectly acceptable and as the unwired chiffon has more "spring" it is often better. For very large bows, say over 60mm, or for certain designs, wired chiffon ribbon is recommended. For giant bows to decorate a church or wedding reception consider our extra wide 120mm Wired Organza or even our 240mm wide wired chiffon
Patterned Chiffon Ribbon
Chiffon ribbon is available various patterns and designs. Perhaps the most popular is combining chiffon with satin ribbon as in our square edged and Sunshine Range
We also have some rather fancy patterned chiffons like the elegance range, Luxury table ribbon, striped chiffon and our rainbow ribbon.

Unfortunately we don't offer a sample pack of the wired chiffon, but we can do free samples for any ribbons, we just have to limit them to 10 to keep this a free service.
