Description of chiffon, organza or shear ribbon.
This is symthetic ribbon which have a unique charateristic in that the ribbon is see through. As a result the light will play on chiffon ribbon depending on the colours around it. Some chiffon will sparkle in the light, other chiffon will have a more matt effect. Whatever type of chiffon ribbon best suits you it is the top selling of all bridal ribbons.

Wired Chiffon ( Organza)
To help you we call all wired chiffon organza ribbon. Some manufactures do not do this so make sure you are getting the correct ribbon. Wired ribbon has a very thin filament wire down both sides. This will enable the ribbon to be formed and the chiffon will hold it's position. Wired chiffon ribbon is great for large bows. It is more expensive so make sure you cannot do with ordinary chiffon ribbon. All of our chiffon or organza ribbons have sealed edges. This is recommended with all chiffon ribbon to prevent fraying.
Sorry, we do not have a complete colour card for all of our chiffon ribbon however we can send you samples if required. Some chiffon ribbon can come with a thin double edged satin ribbon down both sides of the chiffon. Although we do not stock this ribbon it can be obtained to order.
