Ribbon Roses
Craft flowers, in particular ribbon roses are generally used as a simple but effective decorative finish for many items, whether it is for your wedding favour boxes, stationery, or for craft projects. These roses are easy to use, mess free, and eternally beautiful!
Ribbon roses will add a modern twist to the traditional rose design, with their simple style and spiral centre. They are available in a wide range of colours from the bright and daring pinks and blues to the more traditional pastel shades.
The smaller ribbon roses(B1154)come on wire stems around 120mm long with a head size of around 10 – 12mm whereas the larger ribbon roses(B1211) comes on stems around 110mm long with head sizes of around 20mm. Also available are the miniature ribbon roses(B1551) which come on 100mm stems with 10mm flower heads.
If you fancy a rose with a sparkling twist you may be more intrigued with the diamante ribbon rose (B1483) which comes on stems around 110mm long with heads at 15mm wide, which includes a 5mm diamante in the centre. Or, if you would prefer a touch of elegance, the pearled ribbon rose (B1552), featuring a 2mm central pearl in a 15mm flower on a decorative wire stem which is 100mm in length.
The material used to create the ribbon rose is slightly textured which adds a little depth to the otherwise simple looking flower. The stems can be easily formed to incorporate into any arrangement and adjusted into position to create the best effect.
