FREEZE DRIED ROSE PETAL CONFETTI
All the beauty of natural rose petals yet much of the convenience of artificial roses or paper confetti. Freeze Dried roses are natural roses which have undergone a mechanical process where they are placed in a vacuum and all of the moisture is removed. Although other processes are involved , other than moisture there is nothing added or taken away. No chemicals are used during the process leaving a beautiful , natural, fully biodegradable rose petal confetti.
Storage
Providing basic storage techniques are observed Freeze Dried Petals will keep for months. However we do not recommend buying them more than 3 months in advance.
Keep them in original container.
Keep them in a dry place away from sunlight, preferably in the dark.
Two or three days before you wish to use them open the box to let them ’breath’. They will be very dry: absorbing the moister in the atmosphere will make them more soft.
How much to use.
Freeze dried rose petals can be used as a biodegradable throwing confetti which will not offend the vicar (always good to ask permission in advance through.) Use in Confetti Cones or loose in a confetti basket. A 2 litre container should be sufficient for 15 cones Use as a table decoration . Sprinkle small amounts around each place setting. Difficult to estimate how much you will need . However 1 container should be sufficient for 25 place settings.
